*On demand printing

A laser print via highly detailed toner.
On-demand type
As printing can be done straight from the data, there is no need for print-specific files. Good for small lots measured in single boxes, or variable printing. Can also be printed in a short amount of time.

　+ Printing resolution 2,400x2,400 dpi (94.5x94.5 dot/mm)
　+ Gradiant/Color range 256 color gradiant (16.7 million colors)
Note
Full color will be expressed in CMYK, so special color printing is not possible.
(RGB color data will be turned into CMYK data automatically by the printer.)
Uneven paper can cause printing irregularities. Unfortunately we cannot print onto a customer's personal stock of paper.
Static electricity will build up on the printing drum, and as a result there may be a slight amount of color in white areas.

Sometimes we will judge it more appropriate to use Off-set printing instead of on demand printing. Thank you for your understanding in advance.
When coloring an entire face one color (i.e. An entirely red background), on demand printing is not suitable as it will always result in irregularities.
In a case where an entire face is colored, or a design is used right up to the edge, our use of the printing paper will change. Please be aware that in such a case the cost of printing will be larger that what was initially estimated.


*Off-set printing

A print process using oil-based pigments. The same quality as business printing.
From a printing plate the inked image is transfered to a printing bracket, then inked onto the paper.
A print version with an exact number of colors is necessary.

The standard of the press machine depends on the design and, if necessary, the form of printing will be changed. The printing fee listed is only an estimate of cost.
From creation of the print plate to final cutting of the cards will take about 5 days. There might be incidental processing, so please call ahead to check on the shipping date.
